B-Tag Netherlands B.V. provides electronic tagging and labeling technologies to professional clients operating in retail, logistics, and other business sectors. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to our website and the use of our informational and commercial services. By engaging with our content or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

This page is intended to clarify our business responsibilities and your obligations as a professional user. It is not a consumer agreement.

Use of Website and Services

B-Tag’s website and related services are intended for professional use only. The content available via our website, brochures, or communications, including product details, prices, downloadable materials, and integration documentation, is for informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer.

You may browse our website and download public materials for internal business use. You are not permitted to reuse, modify, publish, or resell any part of our content without prior written permission.

Product Information

B-Tag provides up-to-date information on its products and services, including hardware descriptions, software capabilities, and optional modules. While we strive for accuracy, all technical specifications, product images, availability, and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.

We do not guarantee that the content provided is complete, current, or free of typographical errors. Final specifications and commercial terms are confirmed only through direct engagement with our sales team.

Ordering and Confirmation

B-Tag does not operate a public e-commerce platform. All orders must be placed through direct consultation with our sales representatives.

Once your business has agreed to proceed with a quote, you will receive a formal order confirmation by email. This confirmation serves as a commercial agreement and includes key order details such as:

  • Product names and quantities

  • Total price (excluding VAT)

  • Estimated delivery schedule

  • Payment and invoicing terms

You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the confirmation. Any questions or corrections should be communicated to B-Tag in writing without undue delay.

Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted by B-Tag are exclusive of VAT and shipping fees, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Payment methods and due dates will be agreed during the sales process. B-Tag accepts payment by bank transfer and, where mutually agreed, may support other business-to-business payment channels.

Full payment must be received by the agreed due date before any hardware is shipped or platform access is granted. In case of late payment, B-Tag may suspend delivery and charge statutory commercial interest under Dutch law.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping arrangements are coordinated on a case-by-case basis. Estimated delivery timelines are communicated during the order process and confirmed in your order confirmation.

While we aim to deliver on time, shipping may be delayed due to supplier availability, customs, or carrier disruptions. B-Tag is not liable for delays caused by third parties or events outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for inspecting your order upon receipt. Any transport damage or visible product defects must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns and Replacements

B-Tag accepts returns of defective hardware within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must notify us in writing of the defect and provide documentation (e.g. photos, logs).

  • A return must be approved by our support team before shipping.

  • Returned products will be inspected to determine eligibility for refund or replacement.

If a product is determined to be defective, B-Tag will either issue a refund or send a replacement device. Devices that have been damaged by misuse, installation errors, or unauthorized modifications are not eligible for return or refund.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all hardware sold by B-Tag includes a limited one-year warranty from the date of delivery.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Malfunctions due to faulty materials or assembly

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Physical damage caused by improper handling

  • Software or configuration errors outside B-Tag’s control

  • Use in environments outside specified operating conditions

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and may require the return of the defective unit for inspection.

Limitation of Liability

B-Tag aims to provide reliable products and services, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to its platform or flawless operation under all conditions.

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or revenue;

  • Our liability is limited to the total invoice value of the product or service in question;

  • This limitation does not apply in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or mandatory legal obligations under Dutch or EU law.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any material changes will be published on our website and, where relevant, shared during the sales process. Continued use of our services or confirmation of a new order implies acceptance of the updated Terms.
